E-ES: Receiving Errors When Trying to Undeploy the HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING Search Category [Message Set and Number: (262,1761)] and the HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING Search Definition [Message Set and Number: (262,147)] (Doc ID 2618045.1)

Symptoms

Initially, an attempt was made to undeploy the HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING search category by selecting it and clicking the "Undeploy" push button on the Deploy Search Component tab of the Deploy/Delete Objects component. When this action was taken, however, the search category couldn't be undeployed because an error was encountered.
The error message for the first error is:
   "One or more auto-deployed Search Category is selected. They cannot undeploy from this page. Please undeploy the corresponding search definition (with the same name as category) to undeploy auto-deployed search category (262.1761)"

Subsequently, based on the information in the error message, an attempt was made to undeploy the HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING search definition by selecting it and clicking the "Undeploy" push button on the Deploy Search Definition tab of the Deploy/Delete Objects component. However, this action produced another error.
The error message for the second error is:
   "Category(s) HC_HRS_CG_JOB_POSTING should be undeployed before undeploying the corresponding search definition(s) HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING search definition(s) (262,147)"

The issue can be reproduced by executing the following steps:

1. Sign on to PeopleSoft via PIA

2. Navigate to Navigator > PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Deploy/Delete Object > Deploy Search Category taband select Search Instance

3. Click on Deploy Search Category tab

4. Select HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING search category

5. Click the "Undeploy" push button, which results in the following error:
       "One or more auto-deployed Search Category is selected. They cannot undeploy from this page. Please undeploy the corresponding search definition (with the same name as category) to undeploy auto-deployed search category (262.1761)"

6. Click on Deploy Search Definition tab

7. Select HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING search definition

8. Click the "Undeploy" push button, which results in the following error:
       "Category(s) HC_HRS_CG_JOB_POSTING should be undeployed before undeploying the corresponding search definition(s) HC_HRS_JOB_POSTING search definition(s) (262,147)"
