E-DPK: ModuleNotFoundError: No Module Named 'yaml' (Doc ID 2634475.1)

Symptoms

On : 8.57 version, PeopleSoft Update Manager

When attempting to execute the psft-dpk-setup.bat script to install FSCM PUM Image 33, the following error occurs in the Windows Command Prompt output.

  import yaml
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'yaml'



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Download the FSCM PUM Image 33 VirtualBox DPK setup zip files.
  2. Extract zip file 1 of 13.
  3. Navigate to the DPK_INSTALL/setup folder.
  4. Run the psft-dpk-setup.bat script located in DPK_INSTALL/setup.
  5. Error occurs.
