Population Update Look Up Tables For The Updatable Fields Displays the Wrong Values - for the Previous Field Most Recently Added, Rather than the Field Being Changed (Doc ID 2640916.1)

Symptoms

When using Population Update (Pop Update), and the prompt is selected for any field to change the value, the prompt is only displaying the values for the last field added.

For example: for STDNT_CAR_TERM, if Country is added and a value is selected from the prompt, and then Ext Org ID added and a value is selected from the prompt, then if the prompt for Country is selected again to change the value, the search results for Ext Org are displayed rather than Country.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > Population Update > Population Update Setup.
  2. Select the record STDNT_CAR_TERM.
  3. Add the rows: Country, EXT_ORG_ID and save.
  4. Navigate to Set Up SACR > System Administration > Utilities > Population Update > Population Update Process.
  5. Select Fields to Update.
  6. Choose Country, use lookup, and select a field value (i.e., USA).
  7. Choose External Org ID, use lookup, and select a field value (i.e., 000000001) and save.
  8. Go back to the lookup for the Country Field Value, and note it will only display the external Org ID values.
