Symptoms

PeopleSoft is using SSL. The certificates are signed by our internal network teams.

Elasticsearch does not have SSL yet.

Elasticsearch was configured to communicate with PeopleSoft in https according to the below KM Note, scenario (A):

Ping works and also deploy search definitions, build the index and there is data inside Elasticsearch. But search returns no results at all.

The below error can be seen in the ESCLUSTER.log:
