Symptoms

When a folder in the structure and content has the reserve attribute ‘MSF_HIDE_FROM_NAV' customers are not able to update the security for those particular folders.

Example replication:

Modified the folder security for Time and Labor, child folder Root > Time and Labor > Components for CI.
