Symptoms
An unbalanced Journal is posted if suspense processing is enabled and a journal with a statistics account row having monetary amount and no statistics amount is interfaced from Payroll or Third party system.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Insert 2 rows into PS_HR_ACCTG_LINE record by SQL insert. 1 row with a statistics account row having monetary amount and no statistics amount.
2. Set up Amount, Balance and Edit suspense for source PAY which is the default source for Payroll journals
3. Run journal generator with Edit & post option selected.
4. Check the journal created to see that debit & credit amount are matching after journal generator process completes.
