Financial Aid Term Will not (Re)Build In Projection (Doc ID 2670398.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running FA Term build in batch or on-line, some students are not building in projections for one or more terms within an aid year. These are students without enrollment data but who are expected to build for the terms based on active program or admissions data.

The issue may be specific to only a certain group of students, perhaps a subset of students within a specific career. Also, some students may be building for one or more of the other terms in the aid year - such as if those are building from a difference source, such as term (enrollment data).

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > Financial Aid Term > Create FA Term Driver Recs > Create FA Term Driver Records and run the process.
  2. Navigate to Financial Aid > Financial Aid Term > Build FA Terms in Batch > Build FA Terms.
  3. Navigate to Financial Aid > Financial Aid Term > Maintain Student FA Term > FA Term to review the results for any individual student, or query STDNT_FA_TERM.
