Symptoms
The Supplier Portal Isn't Giving A Password Expiry Warning When The Password Is About To Expire
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to PeopleTools-> Security-> Password Configuration-> Password Controls
a. Enable Password Controls
b. Expire in 2 days
c. Warn For 1 day
2. Navigate to PeopleTools-->Personalization-->Personalization Options
3. Open Option Category Level = PPTL
4. Select the Format tab
5. Find 'HPPC' and Set Option Default Value = Classic
6. Restart web and app server
7. Navigate to PeopleTools-> User Profile-> User Profiles
8. Add a new user called DAVE
9. Wait 1 day for Password warning
10. Attempt to login as DAVE on the Supplier Login page
11. DAVE successfully authenticated into Supplier Portal
a. No password expiration message is displayed
12. Test with DAVE on EMPLOYEE Login Page
13. Your password will expire in 1 day message displayed as expected
