Last updated on JULY 21, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Incorrect Last Day Worked is shown in Job data Page whenever an employee is terminated on the Rehire date.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1: Hire an employee in Job Data.
2: Terminate the employee on the same day (Hire Date).   Termination Date is reflecting as effective date of Termination row.
3: Rehire the employee few days after the first Hire date.
4: Terminate the employee on the same day (Rehire Date).   Last Date Worked is reflecting as one day prior to effective date of Termination row. However, the employee was not active on that day. Therefore, ideally that day should not be the Last Date Worked and Termination Date for that employee.
