SFA_COD_OUT Step in Generate Direct Loan Data (DLOUT) or Generate Pell Data (PELLOUT) Fails With 'No such file or directory' (Doc ID 2715473.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run DLOUT or PELLOUT, the following error occurs in the SFA_COD_OUT step, as seen in the SFA_COD_OUT log file:

An incorrect file path and name may have specified on the run control page, prior to the error occurring. However, correcting the run control to use the correct file path and name does not fix the problem.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > COD Full Participant > Generate Pell Data > Pell Outbound or Financial Aid > File Management > COD Full Participant > Generate Direct Loan Data > Direct Loan Outbound.
  2. Enter parameters.
  3. Run the process.
