Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Flex Credits for medical plans using Coverage Codes defined by Total Covered Persons are configured to provide credits to employees based on the Covered Person Type, but no credits are calculating.

Flex Credits should be calculated based on the Covered Person Type of each individual being covered by the medical plan.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

     1. Configure the Credit for a medical plan to use a Covered Person Type Benefit Rate (Navigation: Set Up HCM > Product Related > Base Benefits > Program Structure > Benefit Program Table).
     2. Run Benefits Administration to create Open Enrollment Events (Navigation: Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > Run Automated Event Processing).
     3. Check Employee Event Detail to verify the credits that have been calculated (Navigation: Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Review Processing Results > Employee Event Details).
