EGL9.2: Journal Generator (FS_JGEN) of Accounting Entries Not Generating Journals When Journal Date Set To Accounting Date On Transaction (Doc ID 2726883.1)

Symptoms

When running journal generator for Payables accounting entries, journals are not getting created when the template is using the accounting date as the journal date. If the template is using current date or process date as the journal date to use, journals are getting created.

Below is the configuration of the journal generator template, accounting entry definition, and journal generator run control in which issue is occurring.

-Journal Generator Template PAYMENT
   journal date = accounting date on transaction

-Accounting Entry Definition APDEFN
   record VCHR_ACCTLN_VW
   [X] cross product drilldown    
   settlement date = JOURNAL_DATE
   last update date time = DTTM_STAMP
   chartfield mapping 1 - 6
   multibook order by 1 - 11

-Journal Generate run control
    [X] edit    [X] budget check    [X] post
   -application bu BLANK
   -accounting entry definition APDEFN
   -journal generator template PAYMENT
   -ledger group ACTUALS
   -from: specify date 03/01/2020
   -to: 'end date - to period'
