Symptoms

AM_AMAEDIST fails while performing reinstatement transaction. The following error occurs.

Cannot insert duplicate key row in object DIST_LN_TAO1.
Abended at step AM_AMAEVAT.500060.Step20

 

Detailed DEMO Replication Steps Attached

1.      Review AMBU, has VAT Defaults
2.      Add Asset
3.      Run AM_DEPR_CALC and review Process Monitor for success
4.      Transfer # 1 Asset to new Dept
5.      Run AM_DEPR_CALC and review Process Monitor for success
6.      Transfer # 2 Asset to another new Dept
7.      Run AM_DEPR_CALC and review Process Monitor for success
8.      Retire Asset with Proceeds
9.      Run AM_DEPR_CALC and review Process Monitor for success
10.    Reinstate Asset
11.    Run AM_DEPR_CALC and review Process Monitor for success
12.    Run AMAEDIST and review Process Monitor for success
13.    AMAEDIST fails with Unique Constraint
