Self-categorization Tree on Bidder/Supplier registration is not Expanding or Collapsing as per setup defined on Supplier Request Template Page. (Doc ID 2739946.1)

Last updated on APRIL 27, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Strategic Sourcing - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Unchecking "Expand All Nodes when Loaded" in the create Self-Categorization tree page keeps the tree collapsed in the create Self-Categorization page, but not in the Supplier Categorization (SUP_CATEGORY) or Bidder Registration Categorization pages (SUP_OB_BID_REG_PG5) where it is needed if the table has a lot of categories. And collapsing or expanding a checked category automatically selects all of its child categories, even if some of them were previously un selected.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Unchecking "Expand All Nodes when Loaded" in the Create Self-Categorization Tree page.
2. Create a bidder registration from supplier portal and notice that tree is not displayed as collapsed .
3. Select some child nodes in a category and save for later .
4. Re-open registration and collapse category and notice that all child nodes in the category are selected .
