AV_ACCUM Application Runs Long with Messages 'Cannot Lock Constituent ID' (Doc ID 2747509.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to update accumulators using the application engine AV_ACCUM, the process runs long and shows the following messages in the log file:

Sometimes the process also fails due to how long it has the records locked.

The issue can be replicated with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Contributor Relations > Session Management > Process Sessions > Constituent Accumulators.
  2. Enter Business Unit.
  3. Run the process.
