Affordable Care Act (ACA) Form 1095-C Incorrect for Employee Transferring Between Companies During the Year (Doc ID 2773635.1)

Last updated on JUNE 07, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

A full-time employee was transferred between companies during the year. The employee received health benefits from the first company through the end of the month of transfer with the second company providing those benefits for the remaining months of the year. The 1095-C for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) from the second company showed no Offer of Coverage or Employee Required Contribution for the months for which it provided the benefits and the Offer of Coverage Code incorrectly shows 1G (Non-full time employee in self-insured coverage) for the same time period.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

     1. During the year, transfer an employee from one Company to another (Navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data).
     2. Process the transfer Benefits Administration event through to closure (Navigation: Benefits > Manage Automated Enrollment > Events > Run Automated Event Processing).
     3. Run the ACA Data Extract (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Create ACA Form Data > ACA Data Extract).
