Symptoms

On : 8.59 version

When attempting to deploy PT 8.59.01 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.9, the following error occurs in the DPK setup log when performing the Platform Validation check.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Download the PeopleTools 8.59.01 DPK.
  2. Run the setup: ./psft-dpk-setup.sh --env_type midtier --domain_type appserver
  3. Error occurs during the Platform Validation check.
