E-508: In the Search Results Grid of a Field Prompt Lookup or Component Search Page, when Selecting any Result Set from the Drop Down (e.g.: 101-200 of 300), the Application Server Crashes and User Is Kicked Out with Error Message "An error has occurred" (Doc ID 2793957.1)

Symptoms

In Screen Reader mode, in the search results grid, coming from prompt lookup or component search page, with data displayed in sets/chunks, when selecting any result set in the drop down (e.g. 1-100 of 252), the Application Server crashes and the user is kicked out with error: "An error has occurred".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

[Using the User Profiles page to describe the issue - PeopleTools > Security > User Profiles > User Profiles]

1. Login to PeopleSoft in screen reader mode (select Enable Screen Reader Mode check box).
2. Navigate to User Profile page - PeopleTools > Security > User Profiles > User Profiles.

When coming from Search Page:
3. Select Search to get the Search Results Grid.
4. If the Search Results grid is displaying all rows, select the 'View 100' link.
5. In the Result Set drop down (1-100 of 300), select the next set (101-200 of 300).
    It spins and gives error:
    "An error has occurred".

When coming from a Field Prompt Lookup:
3. Enter VP1 for User ID and Select Search.
4. Select User VP1.
5. On the General Page, tab until you get to field 'Navigator Homepage', under the 'Permission Lists' group.
6. Select the prompt lookup for that field.
7. If the Search Results grid is displaying all rows, select the 'View 100' link.\
8. In the Result Set drop down (1-100 of 300), select the next set (101-200 of 300).
    It spins and gives error:
    "An error has occurred"
