Symptoms

Getting error message when returning from supplier website to peoplesoft application after punching out to supplier website when the user Preferences doesn't have Business Unit defined.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to : Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definition > User Preferences > Define user preferences , choose the user you are logged in with.
  2. Make sure that the user doesn't have Business Unit defined.
  3. From Home page press on the eProcurement Tile then Create Requisition.
  4. Punchout to supplier website and add any item.
  5. Upon Check out, error message received.
