Symptoms


When Bill is created using Billing interface, VAT Defaults gets applicable from VAT country option though VAT business unit is VAT exempt after running VAT default process BIPVAT00.

 Replication:
-----------------------
1: Setup VAT Default Country option (Eg. CAN) as VAT applicable under Setup financials - Common Definition - VAT Intrastat - Value Added Tax- VAT Country option.
2: Setup Billing business unit (Eg. CAN01) as VAT exempt under Setup financials - Business unit related - Billing- Billing definition -VAT default setup.
3: Create a contract for CAN01 business unit with a customer where VAT is not defined on the customer level.
4: Run CA_BI_INTFC to load Billing interface tables.
5: Run BIIF0001 Billing interface in Billing with VAT default process BIPVAT00.
6: Check Bill line VAT info page VAT is applicable though Business unit is defined as VAT exempt.
