Last updated on APRIL 13, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.59 to 8.59 [Release 8.4]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrading to PeopleTools (PT) 8.59.03, the following errors are received when running an application engine (AE) program that uses CI_JPM_PERSON_PROFILE, an HCM delivered Component Interface (CI).

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Set up a PT 8.59.03 environment.
2. Log into Application Designer, and open an existing AE program such as AEMINITEST.
3. Generate the CI PeopleCode template for the CI above, and add it to AE program's PeopleCode Step/Action.
4. Modify the code to retrieve an existing record.
3. Log into PIA via a browser, and run the AE program through Process Scheduler (Navigation: PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Schedule Process Requests).
5. Open the AE log, and corresponding process_state.txt file, and observe the errors shown above.

Changes

Environment was upgraded to PT 8.59.03.
