Direct Loan Credit Statuses are Inappropriately Updated On Subsequent COD Transactions (Doc ID 2831664.1)

Symptoms

The credit decision date and credit decision status are being updated when subsequent COD files come in without this information.

As an example: The loan had a credit decision accepted on 8/21/18. The loan paid and was accepted. On 3/11/19 there was an adjustment to the loan dates only. The response file from COD came back and the COD In process updated the credit decision to blank and credit decision date to 3/11/19. None of this is contained in the COD file.
