E-IB: When Using CreateJsonParser(), the Value After the Decimal Point of a Numeric Field is Truncated (e.g. 1234.00000) (Doc ID 2846186.1)

Last updated on JULY 30, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.58 and later
Generic Windows

Symptoms

CreateJsonParser() is not returning the values after a decimal point, truncating the value. A value of 1234.11111 will be returned as 1234.00000

Replication Steps:

1. Log into Application Designer.

2. Open the PSTESTUTIL page.

3. Copy and paste the following code into the FieldFormula event of one of the buttons, and save the change.

4. Log into PIA via a browser.

5. Navigate to People Tools > Utilities > Debug > People Tools Test Utilities.

6. Click on the button with the added code behind it, and observe the result - "1234.00000" instead of the expected "1234.11111"
