GPCHE Incorrect Calculation Of Source Tax Lookup Accumulator For Payment After Termination (Doc ID 2846662.1)

Last updated on JULY 28, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Switzerland - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In case of rehire after termination (either previous year or current year) the lookup accumulator should have fresh data and should not accumulate the values prior to rehire along with new values.
From 2021, only the amounts earned in current contract will be considered for calculating the source tax.
If an employee has been TER and REH in 2021, the amounts received in terminated contract will not be considered for the new contract calculation.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data
2. Rehire an emplowee
3. Calculate the Source Tax for an employee of hourly basis.
Keep in mind: Hourly Full time lookup checkbox at Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Taxes > Maintain Source Tax Data
