Goal

Asset Management Module is being implemented and Bar Code Scanners are not used for scanning. How to perform physical inventory without a bar code reader using CSV files? Where are the files extracted and loaded from?

The plan is to extract the CSV files and then generate a new CSV file with updated physical asset information. Then load it. Navigation: Asset Management > Physical Inventory > Load/Match/Reconcile PI Info. Following are the questions regarding this approach.

  1. Where does the extract CSV file in the Extract step saved?
  2. What is the format of the CSV file in the Load Scan File section and where is the location of the directory from where the file gets picked up by the process?
