Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Following behaviors are observed when using Export Filtered Data to Excel for Pivot Grids with Drilling URL

If a Pivot Grid has a PS Query source that contains at least one drilling URL, the XLS report generated through  Export Filtered Data to Excel from Pivot Grid Viewer creates the following issues:
1. A new column is added that contains the drilling URL value.
2. The column that is mapped to the drilling URL does not have the hyperlink enabled.

The Export Data option works fine. The issue is with the Export Filtered Data to Excel report.

The expected behavior is the Drilling URL should have been enabled for correct column field.
There should not have been additional column in generated XLS file for URL hyperlink.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigation : Main Menu > Reporting Tools > Pivot Grid Viewer

2. <PIVOT_GRID_NAME> - Open in Fluid Mode

3. Options Menu

4. Export Filtered Data

5. As Excel

6. View the XLS report where the two issues are seen.
