Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Original ACA files for 2021 were Accepted with Errors by the IRS. A correction file was produced, which was then also Accepted with Errors by the IRS. Only a single error was identified on that file. A new Correction file was created and submitted to the IRS. On the ACA Transmission History, however, there were only two records, the original and the second correction file; the record on this table for the first correction file had been deleted. The Acknowledgement file for the second correction file could not be uploaded.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create ACA XML Files for 2021 (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Create ACA XML Files)..
2. After receipt of an Acknowledgement File from the IRS showing errors, create new ACA XML files with corrected data for submission to the IRS (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Create ACA XML Files).
3. After receipt of another Acknowledgement file from the IRS showing remaining error(s), add a row and change the data on the ACA Employee Transmittal Data (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Create ACA Form Data > ACA Employee Transmittal Data).
4. Create another set of ACA XML files (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Create ACA XML Files).
5. Check the ACA Transmission History - there is no record for the first file produced (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Create ACA XML Files).
6. Acknowledgement File from the IRS cannot be uploaded (Navigation: Benefits > ACA Annual Processing > Transmittal and Forms > Import ACA Acknowledgement).
