Symptoms

When Inactivating the Requester Ship To Location, then trying to create a new fluid requisition using that requisition system is entering an error message when saving the requisition.




The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Scenario 1:

  1. Navigate to : Setup Financials / Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Purchasing > Requester Setup and note down the ship to location ID linked to your requester.
  2. Navigate to : Setup Financials / Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Purchasing > Ship to Location and inactivate the Ship top location linked to your Requester user.
  3. Navigate to :Home Page > eProcurement Tile >Create Requisition Tile and create a new requisition using that requester.
  4. Add Special request Item and press on Save notice that system didn't generate the requisition id, Press Save again
  5. Getting error message.

 

Scenario 2:

  1. Navigate to :Home Page > eProcurement Tile >Create Requisition Tile and create a new requisition.
  2. Submit the requisition, Requisition will be auto approved since no Workflow is enabled.
  3. Edit the requisition and change the requisition name.
  4. Notice that the requisition line changed from Approved to open
  5. Save the Requisition.
  6. Attach any attachment to the requisition header level or line level then press Save several times.
  7. Getting error message.
