E-PORTAL: Pagelet Wizard not Showing Preview for All Pagelets After 8.59 Upgrade in Solaris OS (Doc ID 2860484.1)

Symptoms

The Pagelet preview is not showing a preview of the pagelet on PeopleTools 8.59. 


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Upgrade to PT 8.59.03
  2. Navigate to PeopleTools > Portal > Pagelet Wizard > Pagelet wizard
  3. Create a Pagelet of any type (for example navigation collection)
  4. On step 4, select menu type Pagelet
  5. On step 5, the preview will not appear
  6. At step 6, try to publish Pagelet and the user is unable to publish the Pagelet.

 

 

Changes

 The behavior occurred after upgrading to 8.59.
