Goal

In the case where the CODIN process fails or is aborted, what are the proper steps to ensure proper processing or re-processing for any records not correctly processed at the time of the failure?

For example, in one reported scenario, multiple institutions sharing a single database ended up running two instances of CODIN in parallel, with the result that the second instance failed with the following error as shown in the FAPCODIN log file:

When re-running the process for the same file, no additional records were processed.
