The Required Option set in the Page & Field Configurator doesn't Work for DISTRIB TYPE Field on the Express Issue page in Mobile Inventory

Symptoms
The Required option set in the Page & Field Configurator doesn't work for DISTRIB TYPE field on the Express Issue page in Mobile Inventory.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate : Enterprise Components > Page and Field Configuration > Page and Field Configurator
Enter Component Name : MIN_EXP_ISSUE_FL
Market : Global
Click Add
Enter Description
Click Select Fields
Select Primary Page : 02 Express Issue
Select DISTRIB_TYPE_021
Check Modify Label and Change the Label Text
Check Required Field
Save and Click Map to Portal Registry
Click Select
Click Apply Configuration
2. Select Mobile Inventory Home Page
Click Express Issue
Click Add
DISTRIB_TYPE's label changed and asterisk indicates the required field
Leave blank value for Distrib Type and enter all other fields
Click Add Item
Issue : There is no validation for distrib type field and no error message is displayed
