Direct Loans Originated for 2022-2023 and Sent to COD are Returning Rejected with Edit 994 Due to Missing Field <DIRECTLOANATTENDANCECOST> (Doc ID 2863985.1)

Symptoms

When reporting DL loans to COD for aid year 2023, the records are coming back rejected with edit number 994, due to missing the DirectLoanAttandance Cost field.

When attempting to implement the workaround documented in <Note 2859618.1>, the last step(s) can't be completed since only schema 4.0a is available to be changed in the code.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Originate a 2022-2023 Direct Loan on Financial Aid > Loans > Process Loans > Loan Origination.
2. Run the DLOUT process to create the file to send the record to COD: Financial Aid > File Management > COD Full Participant > Generate Direct Loan Data > Direct Loan Outbound.
3. Run the CODIN process to load in the response file from COD: Financial Aid > File Management > COD Full Participant > Import COD Response Data > Common Origination and Disbursement Inbound.
4. Review Financial Aid > Loans > Direct Lending Management > View Loan Processing Actions > Direct Loan Orig Actions for the record, and note it is returned rejected with edit 994.
