EPY: Values Are Not Distributed to the New Fiscal Year When Running PSPPFUND Process for a Pay Period That Crosses the Fiscal Year (Doc ID 2866039.1)

Symptoms


When a pay run id crosses the fiscal year end/new year, the pay distribution has an allocation to the 2022 Fiscal year and to the 2023 Fiscal year.
The full amount is being distributed to the 2022 fiscal year.

Pay Calendar table is not recognizing the April 1, 2022 pay as being in fiscal year 2023

The process PSPPFUND should split this automatically based on the new fiscal year set up.
It should allocate 90% to 2022 Fiscal Year and 10% to 2023 Fiscal Year.


Steps to Replicate
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Ensure the Budget Table is setup for the new fiscal year (2023)
2. Run a Payroll for PAY_END_DT 04/01/2022 which happens to be the first day of the new Fiscal year.
3. Run Payroll Distribution
4. Review the distribution and all went to the 2022 Fiscal Year.
