Symptoms
There is an issue in case of Part time employees with INACTIVIDAD absence which are also in another Social Security absence (for example IT (sickness).
When employee has an INACTIVIDAD absence, then the system only calculates contributions, but no payment is done.
Contributions are done based on informed Social Security base -> entered through supporting element override (variables CLI VR BSCC SOB/ CLI VR BSCP SOB)
Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Use a regular monthly part time employee.
2. Inform Social Security base: Enter supporting element override CLI VR BSCC SOB= 1500Euros
Go to: Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Create Overrides > Supporting Elements
3. Enter INACTIVIDAD absence for the whole year
Go to: Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Maintain Absences > Absence Event ESP
4. Run January and February
Go to: Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll
5. Enter IT from March 1st till March 21st
Go to: Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Maintain Absences > Absence Event ESP
6. Run March
Go to: Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll
When reviewing the results for March, the following is noticed:
- Absence period is correctly calculated
- Healthy period is incorrectly paying one day of salary. This is incorrect as the employee is INACTIVE the whole month
Note: The employee shouldn’t be paid any day of salary during Inactive period.
These are the correct results
