Symptoms
After running the full index build for HC_HRS_APP_INDEX the log from PTSF_GENFEED process shows a number for Total Documents Indexed.
To validate this number go to: PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Search Instances > Elasticsearch Interact, Docs Count doesn’t match the Total Documents Indexed.
STEPS TO REPLICATE
1. Go to: PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Schedule Search Index
2. Run a full index build for HC_HRS_APP_INDEX
3. Get the Total Documents Indexed number from the log file
4. Go to: PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Search Instances > Elasticsearch Interact.
5. Get the Docs Count number from the row referring the index definition: HC_HRS_APP_INDEX
6. Numbers shown are different.
