Symptoms

While upgrading PeopleTools from 8.56.16 to 8.59.08, the Change Assistant job failed at step Updating PeopleTools Patch Information with below error.

Change Assistant step shows :

 Replication Steps :

  1. Start upgrading PeopleTools from 8.56.16 to 8.59.08 using Change Assistant
  2. In Change Assistant, allow step 'Updating PeopleTools Patch Information' to run
  3. It fails, double click on the step to see the error
