Fluid Class Search And Course Catalog Indexes are Deployed But Searches Previously Working are Returning no Results (Doc ID 2882490.1)

Symptoms

Fluid Class Search and Course Catalog search indexes that were previously deployed have suddenly stopped working, where searching for a class or course returns no results. The searches were previously working, and the issue does not affect the Classic searches, which are working as expected.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. From the Student Homepage, click on the Manage Classes > Class Search & Enroll facet. 
  2. Select a term and enter a subject and/or subject + catalog number.
  3. Select the enter key to search, and observe no results are returned.
