Using The Disabilities / Accomm Request Page Is Defaulting Employee Record Value To 0 retrieving The Business Unit Inaccurately (Doc ID 2883413.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 26, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

While Entering Accommodation Requests using the Accomm Request page in Disabilities component, the Employee Record 0 related data is retrieved by default which might be inaccurate in some cases.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. A terminated Employee with Employee Record 0 has been rehired in a different Company and Business Unit with a new Employee Record 1, the Administrator needs to enter an Accommodation Request for this Employee in his new Location.
  2. Login to PeopleSoft as Administrator
  3. Go to: Workforce Administration > Personal Information > Disabilities
  4. Search and Select the Employee, notice that the Employee Record is not part of the Search Criteria and neither the results.
  5. Go to Accomm Request page
  6. Review the Business Unit and its Location Code, these data fields are related with the Employee Record 0 instead of the Employee Record 1 as expected.
  7. Updating/Saving the information with this data will generate incorrect Accommodation Requests for a Employee and its current Location.
