Symptoms

1) Use the PT-INFRA DPK to apply CPUs on an existing PeopleSoft installation on an AIX operating system.

To apply CPUs on an existing installation, you run the DPK setup script with the option --apply_infra_cpu.

2) If the PT-INFRA DPK tries to apply an Oracle Tuxedo CPU, you may see the following error message as the script runs:

Setting up System Settings: [ OK ]
Stopping PeopleSoft Domains: [ OK ]
Applying CPUs from the PeopleSoft PeopleTools INFRA DPK: [FAILED]
Execution of Puppet profile failed: pt_tools_deployment

3) Review DPK_INSTALL/setup/psft_dpk_setup.log. The log contains this error message:

(In the example, the BASE_DIR used for the installation is /psft.)
