E-TUX: Failures When Applying Tuxedo CPU Using PeopleTools 8.59 and later PT-INFRA DPK on Some Existing PeopleSoft Environments on Linux (Doc ID 2884052.1)

Symptoms

1) Use the PT-INFRA DPK to apply CPUs on an existing PeopleSoft installation on an Linux operating system.

To apply CPUs on an existing installation, you run the DPK setup script with the option --apply_infra_cpu.

2) On some Linux VMx, if the PT-INFRA DPK tries to apply an Oracle Tuxedo CPU, the CPU application may fail.

3) Review DPK_INSTALL/setup/psft_dpk_setup.log for an error such as this:
