System is Displaying Item Default Unit Of Measure Instead of the Item Supplier Unit Of Measure Event After Enabling the View_Supplier_UOM Role Action (Doc ID 2885409.1)

Symptoms


After enabling the View_supplier_UOM role action then creating a new eProcurement requisition and adding an item then pressing on the UOM look up , System is displaying the item default UOM instead of the Item supplier UOM.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Items > Define Items and Attributes > Define Items and choose any item.
  2. On the Item default UOM define UOM like : BOX and CS and in the Item supplier UOM define different UOM like EA
  3. Navigate to : eProcurement > Administer procurement > Maintain System Users and Roles > Assign Role Actions To Roles, Choose transaction "Requisition".
  4. Choose the Role assigned to the user.
  5. Choose the Role Action Category : Requisition Item Search.
  6. Search for role action : View_Supplier_Uom and enable it.
  7. Navigate to eProcurement > Create Requisition and search for that item.
  8. Press on the UOM look up.
  9. Notice that it is showing the BOX and CS which is the Item UOM instead of the item supplier UOM.
