Symptoms

Create PAR Replen Process (INPGCDMD) populates wrong Route Code based on the INBU not Order Unit.

Note: In the Replication Steps, User Details / Company Names / Addresses / Emails / Telephone Numbers / Etc. are fictitious (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle DEMO Environments), any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

       1. Navigate : Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Business Unit Related > Inventory > Inventory Definition > US009> Business Unit Options > Shipping Options
       Enable Use Routes option
       2. Navigate : Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Business Unit Related > Inventory > Inventory Definition > US010> Business Unit Options > Shipping Options
       Enable Use Routes option
       3. Navigate : Item > Define Items and Attributes > Define Item
       Create Item TST
       4. Navigate : Item > Define Items and Attributes > Define Business Unit Item > US009-TST
       5. Navigate : Item > Define Items and Attributes > Define Business Unit Item > US010-TST
       6. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Create Route Codes > US009
       Add Route Code RC009
       7. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Create Route Codes > US010
       Add Route Code RC010
       8. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Assign Route Stop > US009 - RC009
       Location : ALBERTA
       9. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Assign Route Stop > US010 - RC010
       Location : ALBERTA
       10. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Create Route Groups > US009
       Add Route Group RG009
       11. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Create Route Groups > US010
       Add Route Group RG010
       12. Navigate :Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Assign Route Stop > US009 – RG009 – RC009
       13. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Assign Route Stop > US010 – RG010 – RC010
       14. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Maintain Route Calendar > US009 – RC009 - 2022
       Generate schedule for every day of the year. 
       Save
       15. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Routes and Loads > Maintain Route Calendar > US010 – RC010 - 2022
       Generate schedule for every day of the year. 
       Save
       16. Navigate : Inventory > Replenish Par Locations > Define Par Location > US009 - PAR09
       Enter Location : ALBERTA
       Enter Order Unit : US010
       Select Par Replenishment Option : Stock
       Item ID : TST
       Enter Optimal Quantity : 10
       17. Navigate: Inventory > Replenish Par Locations > Count Par Location Levels >
       US009 – PAR09
       18. Navigate : Inventory > Replenish Par Locations > Create PAR Replen Request
       US009-PAR09
       Run INPGCDMD process
       Go to Message Log
       Note down the MSR Number
       19. Navigate : Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Stock Requests > Maintain Stock Requests
       Unit : US010
       Click Search
       Demand Source : Material Request
       Source Bus Unit : US009
       Order No. : Enter Order number
       Route Code is RC009
       Issue : Route Code is populated based on Inventory BU (US009)
       Click Route Code prompt
       Values are displayed based on Order Bu (US010)
