Error on Disbursement Aid Page after Clicking Disbursement Button for Direct Loan Item Type: 'Remote program FAPDISBR failed with return code: 8075. Reason:An unsupported parameter datatype was specified.' (Doc ID 2888123.1)

Symptoms

On the Disburse Aid page, when clicking the 'Disbursement' button on a row for a Direct Loan item type, the following error occurs:

A log (.out) file produced will show additional details, including the stored statement that is being executed, FAPDISBP_I_DACT; and the full statement executing the insert into INSERT INTO PS_LOAN_DISB_ACTN showing 58 bind variables inserted.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Main Menu>Financial Aid>Disbursement>Disburse Aid for the student/aid year/term.
  2. Scroll to the row that is a Direct Loan Item Type needing to be disbursed/un-disbursed.
  3. Click 'Authorization' button if the correct amount is not already authorized.
  4. Click 'Disbursement' button and note the error displayed on the page.

Changes

The issue is seen after applying the fix for <Bug 33785274>-2022-2023 AID YEAR UPDATES FOR COD DL: PAYMENT PERIOD END DATE, which is part of the larger 2022-2023 AID YEAR COD UPDATE represented in (parent)  <Bug 33353624>.
