Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In HCM, when a Job correction is made to a job row with multiple effective sequences and update historical data for effective sequence 0, and integrates data to ELM, Process Asynchronous Data updates Learners Person Attribute data to data from effective sequence 0 data, which is historical data.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Prerequisite:
Ensure service operation WORKFORCE_SYNC integrated from HCM to ELM.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Create or identify a JOB effective dated row with multiple transactions.

2. Correct Job data on historical Job effective sequence 0 having the same max effective dated row.

For Example: Effective dated row of 3/17/2022 where there are two effective sequence rows (0 and 1). Correction in “Correct History” mode was made to Effective Sequence 0 on 3/22/2022.

3. In HCM, message WORKFORCE_SYNC published and subscribed in ELM to status Done.

4. In ELM, run Process Asynchronous Data (AE LM_AD_ASYNC)

5. In ELM, from navigation Enterprise Learning > User Profiles > Internal Learner, {search/select} Employee\Learner, notice on the HR/Job Data page, the Learner has historical data from HR Effective Sequence 0 data and not data from Effective Sequence 1.
