Symptoms
When attempting to run Process NSLDS Files, the COBOL process FAPTLART fails, with the following error displayed in the log file:
The issue will only occur when processing some files and not all. The issue is also only seen in environments on the Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) platform.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > NSLDS > Process NSLDS Files and run the process.
- Click link to Process Monitor and note when process ends in Error status.
- Click Details link, then the link that says 'View Log/Trace', then the link for the .log file in the file list, and note the error message.
