GPESP: Company Certificate Issues: Duplicating Days in Case of Retro or it only Shows the Sick Days (Doc ID 2899214.1)

Symptoms

Customers have been reported the following 2 issues for the Company Certificate:

Issue 1: For a few months there are more days than the maximum number of days that can be priced per month (more days than the month has).
For example: it puts 41 days in September.

Issues 2: Prior to applying <Bug 32358888> the Company Certificate was taking only the healthy days which is not correct.
After applying the bug the Company Certificate was taking only the sick days which is not correct.

Steps to replicate the issues:
Issue 1:
Use a monthly employee for the testing.
1. Run November 2021
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll

2. Enter IT absence from Dec 1 till January 31st
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Maintain Absences > Absence Event ESP

3. Run December
4. Run January 2022
5. Enter overtime in November 2021
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Assign Earnings and Deductions > One Time (Positive Input)

6. Run February 2022

7. Terminate employee as of March 20th
Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

8. Run Company certificate for the employee
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Termination Processing > Company Certificate Report ESP > Company Certificate Report ESP
Notice in the output of the report the number of days.

Issue 2:
1. Run November 2021
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll

2. Run December 2021

3. Enter AT (23rd December till 31st December)
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Absence and Payroll > Calculate Absence and Payroll

4. Run January 2022

5. Terminate employee as of February 20th
Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

6. Run company certificate
Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Termination Processing > Company Certificate Report ESP > Company Certificate Report ESP
Notice in the output of the report the the type of days that have been captured: before applying the above bug - it will show just health days and after applying the bug it will show just the sick days.

This second issue was not replicated on Oracle side. It may be an environment specific issue, depending on the maintenance level of the environment or a data issue.
