Symptoms
When selecting OprIds instead of EmplIds in a Query and use it in Notification Recipient Setup page, the application gives a series of PeopleCode SQL errors where the end-user doesn’t get any information on what he is doing wrong:
The request is to change these errors with a more constructive error message.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a query where you select OprIds and not emplIds (Reporting tools > Query > Query Manager)
2. Create a notification recipient group based on that query (Setup HCM > Common definitions > HR notification > Notification recipient setup)
3. Click on ‘view recipient list’
