EPY: DDP001.001 File Missing Distributions After Encryption Turned On and Change Made to Direct Deposit (Doc ID 2899980.1)

Last updated on APRIL 15, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Payroll for North America - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the NACHA encryption is used, if the account information or the priority gets changed either by employee or by an agent between payroll confirmation and post confirm jobs, the outbound extract will either be missing distribution(s) and/or it will not reflect the same account number populated in PAY_DISTRIBUTN.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Confirm Payroll  [Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Produce Payroll > Confirm Payroll > Confirm Payroll]
  2. Change Direct Deposit [Navigation: Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Request Direct Deposit > Request Direct Deposit]
  3. Run the Create Direct Deposit Transmit process (DDP001) [Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Create Direct Deposits > Create Direct Deposit File > Create Direct Deposit File

Changes

Either the employee used the self-service Direct Deposit Page or the Payroll Administrator used the Request Direct Deposit page to update the direct deposit between payroll confirmation and running the Create Direct Deposit Transmit process (DDP001).
