Mass EFC Calculation Page Hides Clear Calc Requests After Selecting Population Selection, and Reverts Clear Calc Requests from 'Y'to 'N' and Population Selection Box from 'On' to 'Off' Upon Page Re-Entry (Doc ID 2902112.1)

Symptoms

When using the Mass EFC Calculation Run Control page, several display issues are observed. 

• If the population select box is checked, the clear calc requests box disappears. Consequently, if the field value wasn't set to Y before it disappeared, the requests will not be cleared from the table. (However, if it was set to 'Y' before disappearing, t then the requests will be cleared, despite the field no longer being visible, and re-appearing as 'N' in certain situations as detailed next.

• If running the process (or just saving the page then going back) WITHOUT the Pop Select specified, the 'Clear Calc Requests' will now show 'N' each time the page is re-viewed, if it had been previously set to 'Y'.

• If running or saving the process WITH the Pop Select specified, the 'Clear Calc Requests' will appear on the page the next time it is viewed AND it will still show 'Y' if that was the value previously used AND the population selection criteria will also still show; BUT the Population Selection box will now show checked OFF. Consequently, the population selection checkbox is not re-checked, and the process is re-run, it will run everyone and clear the requests (if that was set to 'Y') but the next time the page is viewed it will show clear calc requests of 'N' and nothing populated anymore in the population selection.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Financial Aid --> File Management --> Mass EFC Calculation.
2. Create a new Run Control ID and enter the page.
3. Update the run control parameters, set the Clear Calc Requests field to Y and save.
4. Click Return to search and select the same run control ID created in step 2. Note the change on the Clear Calc Requests = N.
5. Check 'Population Selection' box and note the 'Clear Calc Requests' field no longer displays.
6. Save then click Return to search and select the same run control ID and note the Population Selection box is now checked off.
    

Changes

The issue is seen after applying the fixes associated with the 2023-2024 AID YEAR UPDATES FOR ISIR, delivered originally in Patch 33234548 and then in CS 9.2 PUM Image 27.
