HCM 9.2: When Submitting a Guided Self Service Transaction with Position Data Update, the Following Message is Displayed: "Position Data must be manually updated because automatic position updates are not allowed." (Doc ID 2904463.1)

Symptoms

On the guided self-service transaction, the review page displays an incorrect message notifying the User that the Position data must be manually updated, however, the changes have been automatically inserted into the Position:


Steps to replicate the issue:


1. Navigate to Manager Self Service Fluid Homepage > Update Team Information Tile : Update Job Details For Group
2. Choose for e.g. 2 employee's
Answer the Questionnaire: Are you changing the employee's Supervisor? with yes
Add the new position with the new Manager and the above message is displayed
